The Associated Press

Czech railway officials say at least 10 people are dead after a high-speed train hit a collapsed bridge east of Prague. About a hundred others are injured.

Czech Railways spokesman Radek Joklik says the crash occurred at about 10:30 a.m. (0830GMT) Friday near the town of Studenka, about 210 miles from Prague.

Reports say the train from the Polish city of Krakow and was bound for the Czech capital.
