A six-vehicle accident that left involved cars stacked on top of each other Tuesday afternoon was cleared by the California Highway patrol from U.S. Highway 101 in East Palo Alto around 5:40 p.m.The accident was reported in the southbound lanes just south of University Avenue at 4:23 p.m., a CHP dispatcher said.
